As a critical care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and contributing to the hospital's mission.
Job Description
As a Staff Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with complex medical conditions and traumatic injuries. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing patients' conditions and developing nursing care plans that address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Providing medication administration, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the physician or other members of the healthcare team.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Our ICU is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis med dispense systems, and Drager vents. We use Meditech as our documentation system and prioritize AIDET principles to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
