What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation/Activities Assistant position at Stonehenge of American Fork?
Stonehenge of American Fork is seeking a Recreation/Activities Assistant to assist the Recreation Director in providing for the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident. The Recreation/Activities Assistant will participate in the implementation of activity social care plans and resident assessments for the facility. Some of the activities this position would conduct for our residents include playing games, making crafts, doing art projects, providing movie nights, planning parties, arranging for entertainment/performers, organizing service projects, visiting with residents, decorating for holidays, etc. If you enjoy having fun and helping others to have fun, this position could be right for you! Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families and government regulators, and to work cooperatively with other associates at all levels.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, and be able to communicate effectively through written reports, e-mail, and phone calls.
- Must be able to pass all background checks as required to work with protected populations.
Job Type/Schedule: Part Time (Scheduled and work for less than 30 hours per week.)
Hourly Rate: DOE
