Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and courteous Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced upscale environment. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Toast POS system.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure guest health and satisfaction.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy nights.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or upscale setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is an advantage.
