We are seeking a Bakery Associate to join our team and support the daily operations of our bakery. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the bakery and provide excellent customer service.
Duties
- Assist in baking and preparing a variety of bakery items
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their bakery selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area
- Handle food safely and adhere to food safety standards
- Upsell bakery items to customers
- Help in restocking bakery products and ingredients
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bakery, café, or food service environment is beneficial
- Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions
- Ability to handle food safely and follow food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful attitude
