Deli Associate
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Frying of chicken and other hot case items
- Assist customers with their deli orders and provide recommendations
- Operate deli equipment including slicers, ovens, and steamers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in a deli, café, or kitchen setting is preferred
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
