Duties

• Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications.
• Ensure all meat products are handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat cutting area and equipment.
• Operate knives and other cutting tools with skill and safety.
• Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations.
• Monitor inventory levels of meat products and assist with restocking as needed.
• Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food handling environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and use of knives.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with food preparation methods within the food industry.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness in the workspace.
