Meat Manager/Meat Cutter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Meat Manager and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in food handling and meat cutting, with a passion for delivering high-quality products to our customers. This role involves preparing various cuts of meat while adhering to food safety standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Accurately cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to specifications.
• Ensure all meat is handled in compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area.
• Assist customers with their meat selections, providing excellent customer service.
• Monitor inventory levels of meat products and assist with ordering as needed.
• Operate and maintain knives and other cutting equipment safely and effectively.

Skills

• Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and knowledge of various cuts of meat.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices within the food industry.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with equipment, including knives, saws and other meat production tools.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
