Shuttle Driver
Primary Function
Responsible for the safe transportation of employees from a designated, off-site parking area to the casino, and back at the end of the employees shift.
Essential Responsibilities
All job duties are to be performed in accordance with Company Policies & Procedures, OSHA standards and other legal regulations and requirements. Essential responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Provides guest service by assisting employees with questions, directions, and information.
- Provides transportation from off-site parking to casino for all employees in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all California driving laws/regulations.
- Reports any issues/maintenance related needs for shuttle vehicle to department head.
- Immediately report any ticketed violations or any accidents/vehicle damage to Casino Shift Manager.
- Responsible for fueling shuttle vehicle as needed.
- Attend annual BSA/AML training, as scheduled.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills are required. High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills. Ability to accurately calculate addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in an efficient manner.
Reasoning Ability: The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Conditions of Employment
This job has conditions of employment essential to the position that include:
- Must be able successfully pass a thorough background check from the City of Chula Vista in order to obtain a Gaming License
- Must be able to renew and maintain an active Gaming License according to the citys requirements
- Must have a valid and current Drivers License appropriate class endorsement
- Driving record must meet the requirements of the companys insurance carrier
