Job Summary And Qualifications

• Utilizes appropriate resources to complete assignment within allocated time period.

VII. Job Functions

• Will provide floor and carpet care in assigned areas.
• Routine projects will include dust mopping, wet and dry mopping, burnishing, vacuuming, and removing spots.
• Remove boxes and items from corridors as needed (utilizing body substances precautions). Place in proper location in order to keep cleans clean and debris free.
• Communicate with staff members of areas to complete to ensure that rooms can be blocked without causing concerns that may affect patient care.
• Maintain hospital equipment in sanitary condition. Request all repairs (structure, equipment, furniture, and fixtures) required to appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

Experience: Floor care experience required, previous hospital experience preferred.

Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
