Job Summary And Qualifications
Provide assistance to the Environmental Services Department in maintaining a clean, antiseptic hospital environment. Perform housekeeping tasks in assigned areas according to established schedules and prescribed methods. Sweeps, mops, and/or vacuums floors. Other floor work may be required such as: scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors.

Job Summary And Qualifications
Provide assistance to the Environmental Services Department in maintaining a clean, antiseptic hospital environment. Perform housekeeping tasks in assigned areas according to established schedules and prescribed methods. Sweeps, mops, and/or vacuums floors. Other floor work may be required such as: scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors.
- Will provide floor and carpet care in assigned areas.
- Routine projects will include dust mopping, wet and dry mopping, burnishing, vacuuming, and removing spots.
- Remove boxes and items from corridors as needed (utilizing body substances precautions). Place in proper location in order to keep cleans clean and debris free.
- Communicate with staff members of areas to complete to ensure that rooms can be blocked without causing concerns that may affect patient care.
- Maintain hospital equipment in sanitary condition. Request all repairs (structure, equipment, furniture, and fixtures) required to appropriate personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
