Lead Fabricator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal work and welding, with the ability to read blueprints and utilize various measuring tools. This role is essential for producing high-quality components and assemblies that meet our specifications and standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate components from sheet metal, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
• Perform stick welding and soldering tasks as required for assembly.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and dimensions.
• Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
• Build ductwork systems according to design specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding techniques.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Previous experience with ductwork fabrication is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Natural stone & Quartz Fabrication: 4 years (Required)
• Job oversite, Quality Control: 4 years (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Apache Junction, AZ 85120 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Apache Junction, AZ 85120: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
