StoneTurn is seeking a qualified Manager to join our Forensic Accounting and Complex Business Litigation practice.
Job Summary
In this role you will be responsible for financial, accounting, and economic analyses, specifically related to disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions. This position will primarily support a team that works on matters involving complex issues arising from post-acquisition disputes, including a significant focus on representations and warranties insurance claims. You will add value to our team by having previous experience in a professional services firm, strong analytical skills and excellent prioritization skills. This position requires you to be a person with strong interpersonal, communication and technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Work across the forensic accounting investigations and complex business litigation practice area with a focus on matters related to representations and warranties insurance claims.
- Understand and incorporate client needs and objectives into work plans and work product.
- Gather, organize, understand, analyze and summarize supporting documentation.
- Read, understand and interpret financial statements and records.
- Oversee and perform financial analyses, including financial modeling.
- Compile and analyze facts and circumstances to formulate, substantiate, and critique various damages theories, claims or conclusions.
- Understand, develop and utilize computer models streamlining detailed and complex information into clear and concise analyses.
- Manage, develop and communicate work product, both orally and in writing to management and clients
- Draft reports noting findings including, but not limited to the preparation of tables, exhibits and charts.
- Manage engagement management administration, including budgeting, billing and conflict checks.
- Develop and maintain client relationships with law firms and corporate contacts.
- Perform detailed review (quality control) of work performed by Senior Consultants and Consultants
- Supervise Senior Consultants and Consultants and assist with clear direction and support.
