To provide aggressive, hospitable service to guests in accordance with all of The Stonewall Resorts food service standards.
Essential Functions of the Position
- Prepare patio dining area before meal periods
- Clear tables after guest departure
- Prepare and set tables for guests
- Practice exceptional service communication skills
- Handle telephone calls, record reservations, and provide general information
- Operate and understand the Micros System
- Maintain accuracy of guest checks
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Perform duties in a professional manner and follow company policies
- Work varied schedules due to business levels and industry demand
- Maintain uniform and grooming standards
- Knowledge of liquor guidelines and laws
- Familiarity with Hostess, Dining Room Assistant, and In-Room Dining functions
- Awareness of all hotel services
- Maintain high sanitation standards for food handling
- Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly work area
- Attend meetings as required
- Provide assistance in other job classifications as needed
Qualifications
Restaurant Service experience preferred. Must be guest and team oriented, well organized.
