JOB DESCRIPTION
A Data and Applications assistant is an essential part of a research team. They will be responsible for conducting research on educational systems, conduct data collection and management, interpret results, analyze statistical tests, and prepare reports in both written and graphical forms. The role requires a strong academic background in relevant fields like education, business, sociology, or statistics, as well as experience with data analysis and knowledge of educational research methodologies.
Responsibilities & Duties
· Collect and analyze data from various sources
· Design and implement research methodologies
· Prepare detailed reports and presentations
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams
· Stay updated with the latest research trends and technologies
· Ensure data integrity and accuracy
· Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
· Develop and maintain research databases
· Assist in the preparation of research proposals and grant applications
· Conduct literature reviews and background research
· Maintain ethical standards in conducting research
Qualifications & Skills
· Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field
· Experience with advanced statistical analysis software
· Strong project management skills
· Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Familiarity with industry-specific research regulations and standards
· Proficiency in data visualization tools
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Attention to detail
· Ability to interpret complex data and present findings effectively
· Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
· Effective problem-solving abilities
· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
· Prior experience in a research-related role
