Position Description: Clinical Therapist - PRN
Reports To: Clinical Director
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet with each adolescent upon admission, explaining the rules and culture of Stonewater Adolescent Recovery Center, and completing any necessary assessments/evaluations.
- Utilize and administer psycho-education curriculum approved by the Director of Clinical Strategy.
- Plan, lead and/or supervise psycho-education groups as directed by program requirements.
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans for each adolescent.
- Work in collaboration with the treatment team to ensure the adolescents' individual goals are being met.
- Meet individually with adolescents on a weekly basis to discuss treatment plans, goals, concerns, needs, etc.
- Maintain accurate and excellent documentation for each adolescent.
- Perform the planning of discharge and recovery support services for adolescents.
- Provide clinical support for Direct Care Staff.
- Conduct staff, parent, and volunteer training in mental health and substance use disorder treatment best practices.
- Conduct CBT/DBT/MI staff training.
- Work to create a “DBT climate” for adolescents and staff.
- Participate in required training and staff meetings.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards such as The Joint Commission and State/Federal guidelines.
- Participate in all team-building activities.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
Educational/Professional Requirements:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW); Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). If the Clinical Therapist is licensed in a different state, they must become licensed in Mississippi prior to service delivery.
- Must be able to conduct therapy with adolescents.
- DBT/CBT training will be provided onsite but previous DBT/CBT experience is a plus.

- Current and valid driver's license and seven years of driving experience.

- Child Abuse Index Check clearance.
- Fingerprint/DOJ clearance.
- Health and TB clearance.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
