Stonewater Veterinary Hospital is seeking Receptionists / Client Service Representatives at our privately owned companion animal hospital in Clayton NC just 15 minutes from Raleigh. We are a 2 doctor practice growing into a 3 doctor practice with about 14 employees currently. We want to focus on hospital culture and make this a place where you look forward to coming to work each day by putting the experience of our employees at the forefront of how we operate. Our hospital has a fully equipped surgical suite, digital radiology suite with digital dental radiology in our dental suite, and an in-house diagnostic laboratory. We have a cloud based paperless medical record system (Ezyvet), integrated credit card processing, ability for checking out in the exam rooms, and offer Care Credit and Scratch Pay. We have a spacious employee lounge and patio as you need to decompress on breaks to refresh. We laugh and try to have fun with this job as it can be really tough at times. Job duties: Standard receptionist tasks as the liaison between our clients and our medical team in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task.
- Express an overly positive and welcoming representation of our hospital to our clients
- Answer phones and schedule appointments according to practice guidelines
- Navigate clients through the check-in and check-out process
- Direct email communications to the proper channels
- Respond to clients’ requests via email and phone
- Utilize hospital computer systems to enter charges, process payments, update communications, maintain medical record transfers, and process end of day financial reporting
- Complete opening, closing, daily, weekly, and monthly checklists
- Create standard operating procedures and other administrative tasks
- Light cleaning and maintenance of receptionists related equipment
Responsibilities / Qualifications:
- Experience as a Veterinary Receptionist is strongly preferred
- Must have computer and typing skills
- Must possess good judgment and be able to manage stressful situations
- Excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency, and working harmoniously with teammates is required
- Must be dependable, demonstrate strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
