Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our teams in both our Harwich and Mashpee locations.
Year round, seasonal, full time and part time positions available!
This is a customer service yard position with tons of opportunity for career growth! Work hard and be rewarded!
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the yard, ensuring that all materials are stored properly and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of the yard area, including picking up debris and trash.
- Organize materials and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks or other vehicles.
- Operate yard equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks as needed (training may be provided).
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team environment.
