Responsibilities
Position Purpose:
The Business Development function is responsible for planning, executing, and managing strategic and tactical change projects in the APAC region.
Primary duties will include:
- Gather business requirements across various Front Office and support functions locally and internationally in relation to change projects
- Determine or actively contribute to ideation and solutions for complex cross-functional issues/problems and large system implementations/migrations
- Full-cycle project management and responsible ownership for overall objectives
- Active engagement with Front Office and support teams to stay updated on latest developments from business and support perspectives
- Accurate and effective reporting of project status and other KPI/MIS
Qualifications
To land this role you will need:
- A good understanding of financial markets workflows in one or more of the asset classes below:
- Exchange-Traded Derivatives
- OTC derivatives
- Wholesale FX
- Fixed Income and Equities
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to connect and secure buy-in from stakeholders
- Strategic thinking ability and a natural inquisitiveness to enable you to anticipate and investigate business challenges
- A strong ability to understand, critically review, and implement systems, workflows, and processes
- Strong organisation skills and high standards of accuracy, delivery, and time management
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis
What makes you stand out:
- A good Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of relevant experience in a COO, Business Management, or Consulting function
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
