Job Summary
We are seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to provide operational support to our Front Office, Accounting, and Operations teams. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the accuracy of financial data and assist with financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Validate data versus third-party statements to maintain accurate financial records.
- Monitor non-trade activity posted at the clearing firm to ensure proper categorization for accounting purposes.
- Review and post corporate actions to the Order Management System to maintain up-to-date records.
- Reconcile conversion fees and rebates to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure the daily Profit and Loss (PnL) is posted to the intranet for management review.
- Facilitate timely settlement of Foreign Exchange (FX) trades.
- Respond to inquiries from clients, custodians, and internal departments to ensure effective processing of requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Must pass the FINRA SIE exam within 90 days of employment.
- Must pass the FINRA Series 99 exam within 90 days of passing the SIE.
Work Environment
- Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days per week onsite, 2 days per week remote.
- Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
