Stoney Brook Belton is seeking a Full-time Cook to continue our story of compassionately caring for our residents. As a full-time Cook, you will be assisting the Food Services Director to help with the operation of the Food Services department.

Shifts:
- 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Wednesday - Sunday
- Includes weekend and holiday shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares or assist in preparation of complete meals - preparing and cooking soups, meats, gravies, vegetables, desserts, salads, baked goods, etc.
- Complies with all special dietary needs or restrictions of residents.
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
- Monitor all food items for compliance with guidelines for temperature, taste and quality, tastes food to determine quality.
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen; ensuring all equipment is cleaned, working properly, and turned off before closing.
- Assist in inventory.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months experience as a prep cook (preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to speak, read & write English.
- Must be willing to undergo a routine background check.
