Position Overview :
This position is in office Monday- Thursday and work from home Friday. Hours are 9 : 00am-6 : 00pm
The Digital Community and Social Media Specialist is responsible for executing the company's online presence including posting on all platforms, fostering community engagement, and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and customer loyalty. This role will collaborate with the Social Media & Marketing Manager to assist in creating compelling content, monitor online conversations, and analyze performance metrics to optimize engagement.
Key Responsibilities : (including but not limited to)
- Social Media Responsibilities :
Assist in planning and implementing approved social media content plans across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.
Execute daily posting, community engagement, and brand interactions to ensure a consistent voice and presence.Engage with the community by responding to comments, direct messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner through the Stoney Clover Lane brand voice. Note, this includes collaborating with customer service at times.Partner in writing engaging copy for social media captions and digital content, ensuring alignment with brand voice and audience engagement.Attend shoots and / or events to capture engaging content that aligns with the specified needs.Content Creation :Collaborate with the Social Media & Marketing Manager to generate engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts that align with brand messaging.
Assist in developing social media campaigns to support product launches, promotions, and company initiatives.Stay updated on industry and social trends to ensure fresh and innovative content.Community Engagement :Assist in cultivating organic relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates to foster a positive online community.
Monitor brand mentions and sentiment across digital channels and provide insights to the marketing team.Partner with the Social Media & Marketing Manager in executing innovative online events, contests, and interactive initiatives to engage the community.Performance Analysis :Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, and follower growth.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve social media strategies.Utilize social media management tools to optimize workflows and reporting.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.2 years of experience in social media, community engagement, or digital marketing.Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and emerging trends.Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong skills in collaborating cross-functionally with various departments to execute tasks and support initiatives as needs arise, ensuring seamless workflow and successful project outcomes.
