What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mailroom/Operations Assistant position at Stonhard?
Responsible for inventory maintenance of literature, promotional items and office supplies, assembly of sales tools, company mailings including marketing, operations and EH&S. Also handles mail, shipping and distribution of packages adhering organizational procedures, security and confidentiality.
Essential Functions
- Cycle counting and maintaining inventory of Mailroom distribution, including literature, promotional items, sales tools and supplies.
- Count / box /label/stock promo items and literature.
- Assist with shipping (knowledge of FedEx and UPS), receiving and delivering packages.
- Support EH&S and Operations on special projects and mailings including managing labels and distribution.
- Assemble and ship sales tools (Design Notebooks), sales kits, EH&S tools, and company mailings (marketing product launches, trip, tradeshow and EH&S).
- Supports Stonhard and RPM PCG facility and departments - stocking of kitchens (coffee supplies) and oversees lounges and meeting rooms as needed and special requests.
- Use mailroom equipment – postage meter, laminator, and drill for sales tools.
- Support tradeshow program, packing and shipping materials.
- Back-up courier between Maple Shade and Cherry Hill campuses, Post Office and special requests.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Team player that is reliable, flexible, helpful, and works well in a collaborative environment.
- Detail -oriented and effective organizational and data entry skills.
- Friendly, outgoing with strong communication skills
- Must have valid US driver’s license for courier tasks to Post Office and between NJ campuses
Preferred Requirements
- Mailroom experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications, Word, SharePoint, One Drive, Outlook
Physical Requirements
- This position requires some physical flexibility and activity – the ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Stooping, kneeling, bending, and squatting 50% of the time.
- This position requires standing and walking for extended periods -85% of the time.
- May have occasional exposure to various manufacturing chemicals.
