JOB SUMMARY:
Fast paced, large cardiology practice with multiple locations. The applicant should have 1 year minimum of cardiac experience. Certified RDCS or RCS required. Obtainment of RVT or RVS credential within one year of hiring required.
- Candidate for this position will perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures, primarily echocardiograms and carotid duplex. Working knowledge of additional studies performed within our practice (venous, aortoiliac, arterial, and renal ultrasound) is helpful.
- Must have the ability to interpret and analyze exams, following protocols to provide a preliminary report of findings to the physician
- Will have an independent schedule and should be familiar with day-to-day operations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of an accredited Sonography program with RDCS/RCS certification and BLS certification is required
- A minimum of 1 year working experience required in a hospital or physician office with cardiac experience.
- Ability to perform high quality echocardiograms and carotid duplex. Willing to train motivated candidate in vascular ultrasound.
- Must be familiar with EMR and able to complete preliminary reports.
- Maintenance of BLS certification for Healthcare workers.
- Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
- Compliant with HIPAA regulations.
