Experience preparing reports with data points, charts, and actionable recommendations.
Brief Description Of Duties
Reporting to the Director of Educational Effectiveness, the Junior Grant Evaluation Specialist will be responsible for the assistance in providing campus-wide support for grant evaluation efforts to ensure the effectiveness, impact, and improvement of various educational activities and initiatives within the university’s diverse community. Important to this role is excellent communication skills, both written and verbal along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team while managing multiple tasks and priorities is vital to the success of this position.
Duties
This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $3,400 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.

Duties
- Collaborate with departments, faculty, and staff across the university to support evaluation efforts for externally funded projects.
- Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive evaluation plans, ensuring alignment with the university’s mission and funding agency requirements.
- Support principal investigators (PIs) in designing evaluation protocols for pre-award proposals and assist in implementing evaluation plans for funded projects.
- Assist in conducting surveys, focus groups, and other data collection methods to assess program effectiveness and student outcomes.
- Help analyze academic performance and program impact data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain and update records of program evaluations, including tracking data and historical reports.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations to communicate evaluation findings to various stakeholders, including university leadership and funding agencies.
- Support the planning and coordination of evaluation-related events, workshops, and training sessions.
- Assist in documenting evaluation outcomes and recommendations for grant compliance and annual reporting.
- Other duties or projects as assigned, as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.
