Job Title: Medical Monitoring for Research Studies
Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to participate in the conduct of research experiments involving Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging of human research subjects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare subjects prior to entering the scanner.
- Assist in placement of arterial catheters, placement of venous catheters, and removing them at the end of the experiments.
- Monitor research subjects during scanning experiments.
- Drawing blood samples during scanning experiments.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of documents pertinent to scanning experiments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Professional and/or academic certification commensurate with monitoring of arterial catheters in human research participants.
- At least one year of full-time healthcare experience.
- Experience in placing venous or arterial catheters and general phlebotomy procedures.
- Experience in a research environment.
- Medical Imaging research experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Medical Doctor.
