BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES :
Maintain and exhibit behavior that promotes confidence and trust. Capable of working independently / unsupervised. Perform diagnostic Ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician. Perform all Ultrasound Imaging techniques and examinations according to established standards and procedures : Abdominal, Retroperitoneal, Obstetric and Gynecological, Carotid, Vascular Small Parts, and Intracavity exams. Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical / health care errors. The schedule may include days, weekends, nights, and call rotation.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Adheres to the hospital and department policies.
- Requires regular and prompt attendance.
- Works assigned schedule including overtime and calls as scheduled.
- Assists with training.
- Maintains an orderly and clean work environment.
- Communicates and uses appropriate customer relation skills with physicians, patients, families, and health care team.
- Float to Off-Site locations as needed.
