- Stock shelves and ensure that the sales floor is organized and well-presented.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate cash handling and register balancing at the end of shifts.
- Demonstrate products when necessary to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and surrounding space.
- Adhere to company policies regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash register operations.
- Proficiency in using cash registers or POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
