Duties
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing bakery items, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Prepare and display bakery products, ensuring they are visually appealing and meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including pastries, bread, and cakes, as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of bakery supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the bakery department.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not necessary, particularly in roles related to food preparation or customer service.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are necessary for effective customer interactions.
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position.
- Must be able to work afternoons and evenings.
