Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Assist customers with their deli orders and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Receive and stock deli products, ensuring proper rotation and freshness
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of customers and coworkers
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and calculate weights and measures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
