What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grocery Clerk position at Stop and Shop Supermarket?
Timeframe would be approximately 3pm-11pm (5pm-10pm would work)
Operate electric jack- bringing pallets off truck and moving them around backroom and out to salesfloor when needed
Stock merchandise: Lift case, place down, cut open, price mark items, lift out individual items, place on shelf, blocking, breaking down pallets.
Change prices on merchandise: Remove item from shelf, remove old price, mark new price, replace item on shelf.
Cleaning/Housekeeping: Dusting, washing.
Other job functions as assigned or necessary
