This position is responsible for developing marketing plan and tactics designed to generate leads/inquiries for all stores.
The Marketing Assistant will develop plans and analyze marketing reporting to implement marketing communications, guerilla marketing, and ultimately maximize unique web visitors, leads and reservations to convert to customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Reporting
- Import marketing data in to excel to analyze with team
- View web site performance using Google Analytics, keyword search, call tracking metrics, site visits and inquiries in collaboration with our Web Design & Marketing Firm
- Assist conveying communications and changes with Marketing Firm
- Produce year-end ROI study used to develop following year’s marketing plan.
Digital Marketing
- Spot check the corporate web site, StopNStorStorage.com, adding specials/promotion, events, PR, and other content as needed.
- Maintain social media channels and events, ads, and content as needed
Community/Guerrilla Marketing
- Manage memberships and attendees for Chamber of Commerce functions, association events and trade shows as needed, in order to build relationships.
- Assist in planning special events designed to drive in-person consumer visits to each physical property site, i.e., Grand Openings, Community Days, festivals, Chamber events, parades, car washes, etc.
Marketing Communications
- Assist with print advertising, contract negotiations and final proof approval for all printed materials.
- Maintain inventories of all marketing collateral supplies, including promotional items.
- Monitor both traditional advertising, as well as online ad placement.
- Assist with artwork for print media.
- Assist with development and maintenance of property signage including office displays, retail, way finding and exterior building signs (visits to stores as needed).
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, communications, or related field
- Experience: minimum 3 years and preferred 5 years in digital marketing, marketing planning and budgeting, marketing program performance analysis, community marketing, communications and PR
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Places, and Google AdWords required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and WordPress
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Products preferred
- Experience in self-storage or real estate environment a plus
