Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on Class 8 tractor trailer semi units to ensure a safe fleet and compliance with State and Federal trucking regulations.
- Conduct electrical lighting and engine repairs as needed.
- Maintain a DOT health card and possess a set of required tools.
- Utilize computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems.
- Possess vocational or technical certification, preferably in the field of automotive repair.
- Diagnose vehicle issues using scan tools and implement necessary repairs.
- Hold a CDL and obtain a CDL-A within 18 months.
