Position Overview: This role is responsible for developing and executing a data-driven organic social media strategy that increases engagement, builds brand awareness, and strengthens our online community.
This person should come from a creative standpoint—someone who can not only strategize but also execute content when needed, including putting together videos, images, and posts. While you will have access to a full creative team, you should be able to work independently when necessary to ensure a smooth content pipeline.
This is an on-site position in Spokane Valley, WA. Remote work is not available.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an organic social media strategy to grow engagement, reach, and brand awareness.
- Oversee content planning and execution across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn).
- Work closely with our creative team to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and objectives.
- Create and edit simple videos, graphics, and images when needed to execute social media campaigns.
- Analyze social media performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize results.
- Research and implement new trends, platform updates, and growth strategies.
- Engage with our audience daily—responding to comments, messages, and community discussions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align organic social efforts with paid ads, email marketing, and product launches.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of social media strategy, audience growth, and engagement tactics.
- Experience with video editing, basic graphic design, and content creation (Adobe Suite, CapCut, Canva, etc.).
- Ability to direct a creative team to develop high-performing content while also having the ability to create quick-turnaround assets when needed.
- Strong knowledge of social media analytics tools and the ability to extract insights and optimize performance.
- Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to craft compelling, on-brand messaging.
- Knowledge of current platform algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Background in tactical, EDC, or outdoor industries is a plus but not required.
