As a vital member of our team, you will :
Diagnose and treat a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries in an urgent care setting.Perform minor procedures, such as suturing, splinting, and abscess drainage.Provide efficient, high-quality medical care with a focus on patient satisfaction.Work autonomously while collaborating with APPs and support staff.Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) efficiently for documentation and patient care.Qualifications :
Licensure : Active and unrestricted MD or DO license in Alabama.Board Certification : Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related specialty.Experience : Urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.Skills : Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and the ability to work independently.DOT Certification : Preferred, but we offer support to obtain it within the first 6 weeks.Schedule & Work Environment :
Rotating Shifts : Three 11-hour shifts one week, four 11-hour shifts the next.Weekend Rotations : Work every other weekend to maintain work-life balance.Clinic Hours : Monday - Saturday (8 AM - 7 PM), Sunday (9 AM - 5 PM).
