Stor Self Storage is immediately hiring FULL-TIME ASSOCIATE SELF STORAGE MANAGER
Stor Self Storage has multiple locations in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio. We are looking for a motivated and dependable person to fill a full-time Associate Self Storage Manager position. Storage experience is preferred, but not required.
Our ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well with the public. Possess good time management skills and can solve problems in a courteous and timely manner. Must have knowledge of computers, sales, communicate well on the phone, and enjoy working with people. Ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Weekly runs to the bank, post office, office supply store, etc. may be necessary, so reliable transportation is required along with company limits on auto insurance coverage.
Starting hourly wage is $15.00 an hour PLUS rental commissions.

Although you are not required to have industry experience, the ideal candidates we are searching for would exhibit a history of building business and occupancies within the property management industry. However, if you are a customer-friendly, self-starter, and team player, this position is right for you.
WORK SCHEDULE: MON-FRI 9a-6p or SAT 9a-3p (CLOSED SUNDAY)
Basic Function: The Associate Manager will contribute to our success by overseeing the daily operation of the storage facilities that you work at. As you gain experience, you could become eligible to advance into the manager role when a position comes open.
Specific Duties:
The following are brief descriptions of job responsibilities you will be required to perform. Each procedure and policy will be explained in more detail as you go through the interview process. Upon employment with the company, thorough on-site training will be provided by an experienced property manager.
- Responsible for arriving at work every scheduled day, on time and in a neat and clean uniform.
- Operate the facility at its highest and best potential:
- Rent units and ensure all units are clean prior to rental
- Timely collection of rent, deposits, assessed fees and other fees
- Selling retail merchandise such as locks, packing materials and boxes
- Make past due calls to delinquent accounts
- Conduct visual audit of entire property twice per day
- Overlocking and unlocking of units
- Prepare and process daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Prepare and make daily bank deposits
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of rental office, overall site, restroom
- Consistent and regular attendance and punctuality
- Participate in training programs or seminars at management’s request
- Perform other managerial duties requested by the Property Manager or Home Office
- Follow proper dress attire, good grooming and hygiene habits. Smoking by employees is prohibited in the office and in front of or around any customers.
- May be required to work other facilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Availability to Work: rotating Saturday's will be a requirement.
Computer Skills: Must be comfortable using basic computer programs/functions such as checking and responding to emails, use of Microsoft Word, Excel and storage program. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
Appearance: Employees will be required to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
