Summary: This full-time position will work closely in many facets with the Operations and Information Technology Departments. The Financial Reporting Analyst will be involved in helping maintain and improve existing reports, assisting in financial forecasting, support strategic decision making, and develop ad hoc reports in visualization tools as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the creation of comprehensive reports using Oracle PBCS and Oracle NetSuite software, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the migration of data into Oracle PBCS reporting software, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data throughout the process to support reliable reporting and analysis.
- Design, develop, and maintain business rules and SuiteScripts to streamline and automate processes, enhancing operational efficiency and consistency across systems.
- Provide training and support to end users on how to interpret and use reports effectively.
- Analyze financial and operational data and provide information to assist senior management in making good business decisions.
- Provide comprehensive analysis to improving Net Income.
- Develop machine learning models to help streamline business decisions.
- Perform other ad-hoc reporting and analyses for the organization.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree or similar experience in related position.
· Strong verbal/written communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in groups.
· Highly organized with an aptitude for problem-solving.
· Proven experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Oracle PBCS.
· Advanced knowledge of Excel (xlookups, data validation, formulas, pivot tables, VBA).
· Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries for data extraction and analysis.
· Experience with enterprise performance management (EPM) systems and ERP systems like NetSuite is desirable.
· Proficient in programming languages with transferable skills to Groovy and SuiteScript, leveraging coding knowledge to develop and optimize automation, integrations, and custom solutions within enterprise systems.
· Possess intermediate knowledge of financial statements, with the ability to analyze and interpret balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to support informed decision-making.
· Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
· Great time management.
· Exceptional presentation and analytical skills.
· Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
· Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
Language Skills: Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.
Work Hours: In a typical week, this position requires a minimum of 40 hours with regular and predictable attendance. Occasional weekends may be required.
Work Environment: This work is usually performed with normal noise levels and minimum exposure to hazardous conditions. This is a remote position and may be performed at home.
