Storage Post is looking to grow our Maintenance team at our University Heights property.

This role involves maintaining an aesthetically pleasing environment by cleaning hallways, restrooms, parking lots, and the property’s exterior as needed. Responsibilities include ensuring the premises are neat, keeping the grounds free of debris, and maintaining landscaped areas by removing weeds. You will also be tasked with cleaning and trashing vacated spaces, transferring debris to designated areas, and addressing unsafe conditions promptly. Additional duties include interior and exterior painting, reporting maintenance concerns to the Property Manager, performing minor maintenance tasks, assisting with snow removal, and completing other tasks as assigned by management. The position requires professional conduct at all times while representing the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Repairs: Perform both minor and major repairs to buildings and equipment, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other essential systems.
• Emergency Maintenance: Respond quickly and effectively to emergency maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
• Renovation and Remodeling: Assist with the renovation and remodeling of buildings, including tasks like repairing plaster, drywall, and painting building structures.
• Property Cleanliness: Maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment by cleaning vacated spaces, hallways, and the exterior of the property as needed.
• Groundskeeping: Keep the grounds free of debris and ensure landscaped areas are free of weeds.
• Safety and Functionality: Ensure the property meets company standards for safety and functionality at all times.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience: At least 3 years of responsible experience in building maintenance and repair.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Schedule Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and be willing to travel to other facilities as needed.
• Language Skills: Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are a plus.
