Retail Sales and Customer Care Specialist Duties: Our store employees are the face of the Company to all prospective and current customers. The ideal candidate for this role seeks opportunities to provide excellent customer service and takes initiative while remaining flexible to meet the day to day needs of the facility.
- Serve as the face of the company, creating a warm, welcoming environment for both current and prospective customers.
- Take ownership of customer service inquiries, ensuring timely, effective solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Be responsible for opening and closing the facility, conducting thorough walk-throughs at the start and end of each day to ensure smooth operations.
- Connect with customers via phone calls and follow-up communications to enhance the customer experience and foster lasting relationships.
- Provide facility tours and assist customers with renting units, offering personalized assistance to meet their storage needs.
- Ensure the facility remains clean and visually appealing, maintaining the interior and exterior, including vacated units and hallways.
- Monitor and manage the support queue to ensure prompt resolution of customer-related issues, maintaining high standards of service.
- Handle rollover calls from the sales call center, adhering to provided scripts to ensure a positive and professional customer experience.
- Identify and report operational inefficiencies, ensuring procedures are followed and contributing to the smooth operation of the facility.
- Manage credit-related inquiries and processes, ensuring accuracy and maintaining customer satisfaction at all times.
As a Retail Sales and Customer Care Specialist, you have:
- Minimum of 2 years retail experience with a focus on customer service
- A great attitude and passion for serving others
- Ability to deal with customer conflicts and resolve problems
- Ability to work in a (sometimes) stressful environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and travel to sister properties as needed
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
