Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced storage facility manager to join Storage Star at our newest location in Cloverdale, CA. We anticipate the start date for this position to be December 19, 2024, but that may change depending on when the sale finalizes.
Job Summary:
As a storage facility manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the storage facility, focusing on business success, security, and maintenance. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing reports, finances, staff, facility maintenance, and delivering excellent customer service. Your duties will include adhering to procedures, maximizing occupancy, and handling emergency procedures effectively. This is a part-time position, but you will be expected to work full 8 hours shifts, days and times are TBD. The working hours are Monday-Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Sundays and Mondays where applicable) with no evening or early morning shifts required.
Requirements:

- Proficiency with computers
- Works well in a team setting or independently
- Valid Driver’s License
Experience:
- Prior experience in storage or customer service is preferred
- Supervisory experience in restaurant or retail environments is encouraged
- 2 years of customer service and sales experience is preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk storage facilities and travel regularly
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds at times
- Ability to use manual and power tools for property maintenance and lock cutting
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
