We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer specializing in React. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining frontend systems using React and TypeScript. The engineer will also contribute to backend services (Elixir/Phoenix) and collaborate with product development teams like WMS, Parcel Billing, and OMS.

You will collaborate with one of our dedicated product development teams, including our Warehouse Management System (WMS) team, Parcel Billing team, or Order Management System (OMS) team. The OMS team builds and maintains the system that powers our innovative, world-class logistics network, enabling leading omni-channel brands to achieve significant optimizations and cost savings. Through advanced automation, intelligent routing, and robust order management tools, it ensures that orders are fulfilled in alignment with each client’s unique goals and objectives. The Parcel Billing team maintains our internal billing platform, responsible for billing customers for fulfillment services and parcel shipping costs. This platform manages the rating, billing, and auditing of millions of packages each week.The WMS team is responsible for maintaining our warehouse management system, which supports our fulfillment centers and manages the fulfillment of tens of millions of packages annually. This system is designed to enhance labor productivity, reduce costs, and maintain inventory accuracy.

What You'll Do
- Technical Contribution: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure frontend systems using React and TypeScript, focusing on simplicity and maintainability.
- Problem-Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges related to user interfaces and frontend architecture, driving innovation and delivering efficient solutions.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and professional development in React and TypeScript.
- Collaboration: Work within a team of Engineers and partner with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize work, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality features.
- Code Quality: Maintain high standards for code quality, testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and software development practices, with a focus on React and TypeScript best practices.
- Feature Ownership: Take ownership of entire frontend features from ideation to deployment, influencing specs and building out user interfaces.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with other teams to contribute to scaling processes, tools, and technologies related to frontend development.
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar role with a strong focus on React.
- Expertise in designing, building, and maintaining complex web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6 ).
- Extensive experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil) within React applications.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and system architecture, specifically in the context of frontend development.
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies for React applications (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers in React and TypeScript.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
