We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and handy part-time property manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Property Management:
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage facilities.
Assist customers by phone and in-person with renting units, processing payments, answering questions, and solving problems.
Complete rental agreements, receipts, insurance addendums, and other required documents for transactions and reporting.
Tenant Relations:
Collect rent, fees, and other monies owed to the business.
Maintain accurate tenant files using computer systems provided.
Prepare and mail weekly, monthly, and other requested reports.
Collections:
Send courtesy and collection calls, collect past-due rent, and document these calls in tenant files.
Process and initiate collection services in accordance with policy and federal and state law.
Facility Maintenance:
Keep empty storage spaces clean and ready to rent.
Promote and accurately track marketing programs and outside tracking services as prescribed by the employer.
Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is required. Proficient telephone skills are critical. The candidate must be able to work weekends and be a team player. Apartment, hotel, or storage experience is helpful but not necessary. Strong computer skills are a plus. A pre-employment background check will be conducted, and a valid driver's license is required.
