Outside Sales Representative

Store Supply Warehouse has been serving retail and small business industries for 30 years, providing the very best in store fixtures and supplies for small businesses, online retailers, boutiques and more. Our mission is to “Take care of the customer every time without hesitation.”

As an Outside Sales Rep you will be responsible for managing and running the entire sales cycle. You will drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring and developing new and expanding business with direct clients for our multi-brand portfolio. We currently operate three main brands: Store Supply Warehouse, SSW Dealer Supply and Love Groomers. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales with these brands to new and assigned customers and supporting them with expert knowledge in these fields. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic sales plan (including target customers, revenue and margin targets, and product focus) by working collaboratively with the product management and existing sales teams
  • Target high quality leads and leverage existing partnerships to build a robust prospect funnel
  • Own and drive revenue growth, identify opportunities, utilize forecasting models for new and assigned existing accounts
  • Build relationships at multiple levels with potential clients via phone, email, social media, face-to-face meetings – travel as necessary but approximately 10-25%
  • Engage with decision makers at all levels of an organization during the buying process
  • Provide consultative account management, post-sales support, and consistent follow-up
  • Maintain a high level of relevant product and industry knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects – deep industry knowledge not required for initial hire
  • Set goals and report on sales activity, utilize CRM tool and other sales reporting tools
  • Provide feedback to management on company trends, threats, needs and opportunities – work with product managers to develop new products to meet customer needs
  • Generate proposals and contracts
  • Assist in the planning and execution of coordinated sales and marketing campaigns

Educational Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field and/or 5-7 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience

Organizational Relationships

  • Reports to Chief Operating Officer
  • Regularly interfaces with the company’s senior executives.
