Position Summary: Storee Construction is seeking an Expeditor Specialist to assist with material, tools, and equipment ordering, receiving, staging, delivery, and tracking. This role supports efficient field operations by ensuring materials and equipment move effectively between inventory, suppliers, job sites, and production areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with material, tools, and equipment organization, inventory, and movement between receiving, staging, and delivery.
- Support field, shop, and fabrication personnel with material, tool, or equipment requests, pick-ups, or drop-offs.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the Orders system for all materials dispatched, staged, or received.
- Assist with walk-in orders, ensuring timely processing to support field personnel.
- Update material stock quantities in the tracking system and assist with monitoring material availability.
- Receive and verify material quantities, condition, and part numbers. Report discrepancies and assist with resolutions.
- Stage materials, tools, and equipment for delivery, ensuring proper preparation and readiness.
- Assist with the delivery process, including loading/unloading, securing, and tracking status in the Orders system.
- Support tool and equipment check-in/check-out processes using the Storee Tool System.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in full operating condition, reporting any issues or repair needs.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with material ordering, inventory tracking, and related software preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and perform tasks requiring continuous movement.
- Must have a valid Class E or CDL Class A driver’s license or be willing to obtain one for employment.
