Accountant
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a self-motivated Business Accountant/Bookkeeper to assist with our business clients. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with strong attention to detail with a desire to help business owners manage their businesses, manage their books, and prepare their monthly financial reports. Must be willing to work with new clients and have the ability to focus in a busy, on-the-go environment.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service:
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address queries and provide support.
Education and Training:
- Complete or exceed minimum continued education requirements annually.
- Become certified.
Other:
- Problem-solve, troubleshoot, and suggest process improvements to maximize efficiency while maintaining accuracy.
- Participate in team meetings and events that support internal consistency, teamwork and create an enjoyable work atmosphere.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work in multi-faceted environment and manage multiple projects.

Education and Background:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in , QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Office.
- QuickBooks certification is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce a plus.
- Tax preparation experience a plus.

- $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
