Business Data Analyst

Job Summary:

Collect and evaluate data across systems to create business reporting tools identifying patterns, trends, and insights about business operations.

Reporting Relationship

Reports to Executive Vice President.

Essential Functions and Duties (including but not limited to)

• Create and publish reporting dashboards for operational trend visibility
• Create and publish asset management reporting dashboards for facility maintenance (Storer Building Services) sites
• Set up and manage data refresh schedules for reporting tools
• Audit and review data output for accuracy and usefulness
• Create account access with appropriate security alignment based on user/role
• Query data from SQL into reports, dashboards and spreadsheets
• Maintain and update existing dashboards as needed
• Debug and fix data refresh failures
• Attend strategic meetings including Service Process and ERP weekly meetings
• Demonstrate dashboards to end users
• Other duties as assigned

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer programming, math, business or like experience
• Experience with SQL or other query language highly beneficial
• Two to five years’ related experience and/or training
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software with emphasis on Excel
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
