Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Food Service Worker to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department, providing high-quality meals and exceptional service to our high school students.
Responsibilities
- Provide hot meals to students and staff.
- Perform food preparation, service, and clean up following established State and Federal food handling guidelines
- Order, maintain and inventory supplies
- Lunch program accounting, record and balance cash deposits.
- Provide monthly reports for state reimbursement and manage Free and Reduced Lunch Program.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work scheduled hours
- Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds
- Knowledge of equipment necessary for food preparation
- Ability to follow state, federal, and local safe food handling requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum amount of supervision
