As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, developing efficient systems, and leading a high-performing team. You will work closely with our CEO and CFO to align team goals with corporate objectives, ensuring our company operates smoothly and delivers high-quality service to our clients. With your proven track record of team development and system integration, you will help us grow while maintaining our commitment to reliability, integrity, and community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily communication & planning with CEO and CFO
  • Recruit, train, manage, and retain superstar team members and put in place operational and training systems to ensure a productive, high-performing team
  • Scheduling and supervising all target interactions with the team and with individual departments as needed
  • Develop and implement operational systems, policies, and procedures around advertising new positions, recruitment, onboarding, and training
  • Review financial performance quarterly and annually and compare to benchmark budgets to determine any corrective actions to achieve better profitability
  • Contribute to strategic planning and reviews, including the development of action plans
  • Streamline the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and monitor the team to follow the right protocol
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

Results:

  • Foster clear and effective communication with the CEO and CFO, and respond to all communications within 24 hours
  • Provide sufficient back-end support and efficient systems to foster team performance and respond to all internal team communications within 48 hours
  • Compile clear weekly objectives for team members every Monday and monitor results by Friday
  • Compile clear quarterly objectives set every quarter, and monitor results within 5 days of quarter end
  • Determine quantifiable KPIs for all projects that integrate new and existing operations, systems, processes, and personnel, and complete projects on time and demonstrate KPIs are met or exceeded
  • Recruit, hire, and train excellent team members and implement transformational leadership practices to facilitate team growth
  • Track financial performance, comparing actual performance relative to targets of 97% occupancy, less than 1% collections losses, and 20% controllable expense ratio (payroll, contract services, maintenance, admin, & advertising) AND create action plans to recover from any shortfalls
  • Strong, positive, results-driven culture within the team

Requirements:

  • High-level communication skills
  • Detail-oriented & highly organized with the ability to assess the company based on data
  • Excellent time management & problem-solving skills
  • Emotionally self-regulated even during times of pressure and stress
  • Able to consistently understand the intent and vision of the CEO and CFO
  • Ability to meet deadlines with ease and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be both a team player with a positive attitude and must be able to work independently
  • Ability to set goals and develop achievable timelines to hit them.
  • Highly developed self-awareness and leadership skills
  • You will work to decrease the noise of the executive team and be their barrier
  • Years of experience in an operational function, administrative experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,779.00 - $78,223.00 per year
