Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant/Floater to join our team. This position offers a dynamic and flexible role, where you will support teachers across multiple classrooms, helping ensure that every child receives individualized attention and care. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a positive, organized, and engaging environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in creating and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Support children with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Supervise and engage children during playtime, outdoor activities, and transitions.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Monitor children's safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist with daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and potty training.
- Work with teachers to ensure classroom activities are inclusive and engaging for all children.
- Provide support to various classrooms as needed, filling in for teachers during breaks or absences.
- Communicate regularly with teachers and parents regarding children’s progress and needs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred).
- Previous experience working with young children, especially in an educational or childcare setting (1 year preferred).
- Strong interest in early childhood education and a passion for supporting young learners.
- Ability to work well with a team and adapt to different classroom environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
