Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Xactimate estimating tool to prepare accurate and detailed project estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners to explain estimates, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Work closely with insurance adjusters to ensure accurate claim processing and approval.
- Conduct site visits to assess damage, take measurements, and gather necessary information for estimates.
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, communications, and project updates.
- Assist in negotiating estimates with insurance companies and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and insurance requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the estimating department as needed.
- Proven experience with Xactimate estimating software.
- Knowledge of construction, restoration, or roofing industries preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience working with homeowners and insurance adjusters.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) a plus.
