Assistant Estimator

Job Summary : Storm Guard is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills for interacting with homeowners and insurance adjusters.

Key Responsibilities :

• Knowledge of Xactimate estimating a plus.
• Collaborate with all departments.
• Communicate effectively with homeowners to explain estimates, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Work closely with insurance adjusters to ensure accurate claim processing and approval.
• Maintain detailed records of estimates, communications, and project updates.
• Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and insurance requirements.
• Provide administrative support to the estimating department as needed.

Qualifications :

• Experience with the claim process preferred.
• Knowledge of construction, restoration, or roofing industries preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience working with homeowners and insurance adjusters.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish / English) a plus.

Compensation : $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
